This video features the creator, Deji, attempting what is billed as the "hardest try not to laugh of the year." The challenge includes a set of stakes: if he laughs more than eight times, he must complete a viewer-suggested challenge.
Highlights of the attempt so far:
- Toronto/Brampton Slang Meme (1:11 - 2:34): Deji reacts to clips mocking Toronto and Brampton slang, finding the "wles" and "tutus" terminology ridiculous.
- Awkward Conversations (3:10 - 4:40): Several clips feature awkward or bizarre social interactions, including a strange exchange about a "13-year-old" girlfriend and misunderstandings in conversation.
- Weird Internet Clips (4:48 - 8:15): The video features a montage of internet humor, including bizarre "dog" jokes and awkward public encounters, which Deji struggles to keep a straight face through.
- Dark Humor & Oddities (8:18 - 12:35): Clips range from questionable advice, such as responding to a viewer's confession of abuse with "stop getting abused" (10:43), to bizarre gaslighting scenarios and head-scratching internet skits.
- Ongoing Challenges: Deji maintains a running tally of his laughs, expressing frustration at how difficult some of the clips are to ignore while criticizing the nonsensical nature of much of the content.
Deji continues to navigate through these internet clips, attempting to uphold the "try not to laugh" challenge despite the absurd content being presented.
